About
Welcome to the Alameda Ultimate Program!
Ultimate is an exciting, fast-paced, team sport combining elements of soccer and flag football, but played with a “disc” (aka frisbee). We offer a great introduction to Ultimate for middle and high school students. The team welcomes all genders and skill levels - no previous experience is needed. We are not tied to any one school or city of residence, so any and every interested player is welcome!
If you’ve never picked up a disc before this is the perfect year to come try Ultimate and help build up the team, but the program provides a space for spirited, competitive play for more experienced players as well. Attending every practice is not mandatory.
Our programs are supported by players/students, coaches from the Ultimate community, parent volunteers, and the Bay Area Disc Association.
Many of our High School alumni continue to play Ultimate in college for their University club teams. Several former players are currently playing with the Oakland Spiders, a professional team that competes in the Ultimate Frisbee Association league.
